Vaguely interesting road signs of the trip no. 2

  1. Disappointing lack of comments. perhaps nobody recognizes (american spell checker) quite what a couple of wallies you are! Much better to be enjoying life the other side of the pond.

  2. Dungeness - no wonder you are riding away from there as fast as you can! My folks once took me there for a holiday when I was small (well, if you're from Essex then Dungeness sounds exciting...) and it was just a nuclear power station and a pebble beach.

    Have fun, good luck.

  3. Hey, didn't realise you'd started! Enjoy the trip ..... and invest in a solar charger for the phone.

Delighted to hear you have started. Good thinking Don, getting out of the saddle and walking up the hills. Your posterior will be in far better condition at the end of your epic trip. Hope you are not experiencing the gales and flooding which we are having in Orkney. Good Luck.

  5. I've phoned around as many real ale pubs as I could find on your route and warned them to look ouf for two numpties on bikes trying to sneak a phone charge for free! Keep up the good work.

  6. I did look at solar panels for charging the phone but the panel would have been bigger than the bike...

  7. Sineag and I are very proud of what you are attempting. We have every faith that you will complete your epic journey and you will both deserve either a medal or free medical attention for the remaining days you have in this world.
    Well done boys.
